Wow! Good for the average consumers, bad for the gullible buyers' of the first ( and very expensive ) series HD-DVD players... Hah ha!
It's good to hear "rumble" is finally coming back. Getting ready to finally get me a PS3 console probably mid-year next, when everything'll fall right for Sony with the arrival of all the "new" up-coming games.
They might even bring the price for the PS3 console a bit further down and offer a better bundle deal.
Can't wait to get Assassin's Creed, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, GranTurismo 5: Prologue in Blu-Ray disc plus the "real" GranTurismo...
One thing I noticed though, the tarmac tyre markings on Forza2 are the only saving grace for this otherwise boring title.
Can't really comment on GranTurismo 5: Prologue as I have'nt played and seen it's glorious graphics on an actual CRT T.V., Plasma or LCD screen, but the tracks do look it's missing those road imperfections ( skid marks, minor road bumps... ) which makes it more believable - too perfect?.
But have to say Forza2 which is just too bright graphically ( unec...
>> One more thing, so called "physics" is crap.
>> A lousy game.
>> Bumper cam is used for the sole purpose of seeing any irregularities on the surface of the tarmac - before races ( 'reckies - for rallyes' ) and during media coverages'.
>> Drivers still have to browse/look thru their dashboards and the road on race days.
>> A "sim game - Forza2" - NO.
It's rubbish 'cause you could'nt really call this game a "simulation" for the mere reason it has no in-car camera viewpoint - to actually realize how it is to drive any vehicle, the developers forgot to add the key missing ingredient which gives that "extra" realism to this game.
And don't give us any reasons they told us before, that because of the number of cars and features - they did'nt have the luxury of adding this feature on the game when most of the othe...
Looks so much better... but where are those damned games already?!
Basically what all governments are saying - "If it serves my interests'"
I laugh at these ninkampoofs who'ved bought their { precious - hah ha } thousand bucks or more HD-DVD and Blu-Ray players.
Most Australians ( with the brains to think correctly ) know that the PS3 is "still not yet" such a good gaming console to purchase for the mere fact:
>> it's way to expensive - even with the recent { false perception } of a price-cut.
>> the game library is not enough/and or stinks.
The now famous Top Gear test track on GranTurismo 5: Prologue + the "real" GranTurismo 5.
See it on: ( http://www.fastlanedaily.co... ) this is confirmed fact!
It's a real pity, the very car that made GranTurismo and the first Colin McRae Rallye Series such a hit, in fact one of the most popular vehicle to ever cross-over to the virtual world and achieve a near cult status is now a dud design.
Probably not mechanically but aesthetically speaking.
It ain't really bad ( well this STI version anyway... ) but the base model thru the WRX series plus add the sedan is truly unacceptable, brings bad shivers to my spine. Just want to spi...
Bloody Hell!!! Another Year!!! Aarrgghhhh!!! >_< $hit*@*#%!!!
They should at least add the TOP GEAR test track with the now famous Gambon corner on the game series....
.... this wait is so frustrating!!!
Sony makes smokescreens ( to hide the fact their game library stinks/or most "new" games are going to be delayed - again )
XBox/MS just blasts-off with a lot of AAA title from every corner.
On word "GAMES"
Now shut-up and play.
All very true. Guess have to suffer another frustratingly long wait till I get my own PS3 console ( with all the games that I want to buy - which hopefully'll be released early next year... plus add the soon to be released hardwares and upcoming "new' peripherals ... fingers crossed )
Thank goodness I bought an XBox360 - with so much games ( AAA games ) thats available on the market plus a lot more coming, this will take most of the pain of waiting.
It's either a smokescreen - to keep it's gaming fans busy ( guessing - what the hell all this is about ) while there are still no games/or waiting for these games to be released.
And it's also to protect Sony ( so they could easily sue any individual, group or other corporations ) that poses a threat to their business ideas, which could easily backfire one way or another on them showing how an arrogant greedy corporation they are.
It's a mask, a nice looking mask that hi...
That's really great for Polyphony Digital on helping out with the designs ( for the now going to be hugely famous ) central multi-function display monitors on the mighty Nissan GTR35 ( Godzilla ).
Very well thought and laid-out. So much improved from the previous GTR34 Series.
>> 25 cars
>> 3 race tracks
>> Being a prologue before the "real" GranTurismo 5, I believe would not be enough
to wet the appetites for a lot of us gamers' out there.
This would be a very very quick game.
>> It'll be - firstly a drool factor for the graphics alone, but a bit of a "that's it?" let down - for the main reason these are the only features offered and not because of the game it...
This would push Sony to lower the price of the ( Blu-Ray ) PS3 console as well... which'll be really good.
